I was visiting family over the holidays. Sushi masa had a long wait so hit up this restaurant instead. I was pleasantly surprised and am glad to see that there's more than one viable sushi option in Sioux Falls now.

I have the opportunity to travel often to different city across the states. One of my favorite things is get sushi at each place and rate it among all that I've eaten. To be honest, I was not expecting a good or much less a great sushi restaurant in Sioux Falls. This place is GREAT! I ate there every night of my stay and was thoroughly pleased. You will not find better!

In my opinion, this is the best sushi place in Sioux Falls. Although they did open up 3-5 more places in this growing small-town city. I like their Miso Soup, which I have eaten with every roll (which has been very good) so far.

Really cool atmosphere. This place is very underrated, I loved the music and the interior design of it all. Sushi rolls were smaller than expected, which I liked. This is one of the only sushi places I've been to that didn't cater to the gluttonous American XL portion of a sushi roll and it was refreshing. As far as freshness, it's Sioux Falls. It's as fresh as it can be under the circumstances. So if you're from California, Japan or Hawaii and you are comparing, just stop it. The reason I knocked a star off was because after our food was brought to us, we were just kind of forgotten about and I had to ask about the discount after it was not credited on the receipt. Really nice staff though, it was adjusted quickly.

Simple review. They had plenty of options, the food tasted good and the price was reasonable. Being a guy who doesn't do Japanese very often, I liked that their menu had a picture for each item. I had a Bento box with chicken for something like $13. The service was good but we pretty much had the place to ourselves that Monday night.

We LOVE this place!! It is an awesome place for date night! Great food, great service. Our waitress Jenni is such a sweetheart! She goes above and beyond to make us have an enjoyable night. We will be back again next week! See you than Jenni. Thanks for all the laughs!

I found a short black hair, rolled up in one of my sushi rolls. When I told the waitress, she took the hair back to the kitchen for 5mins, came back, then proceeded to tell me it was mine. Clearly!!! Bc I have short black hair!! Nope, I have long light brown hair!! And how did I get my hair in the roll? Don't ever come here, worst sushi ever!!!

A little nervous eating here with only a handful of reviews, but thought I would give it a try. Got there about 6:15 and only 1 customer in the restaurant further causing me concern. But I can honestly say the sushi was fresh, the service was excellent and the pricing was reasonable. I had the rainbow roll, eel, salmon and yellowtail sashimi. It was all very tasty. I will definitely come back on my next trip. Btw. They do not take Amex which really sucks for business travelers.

Sat here several times. Nice to get a free roll when you order 2 but it would be nice to be asked to choose which one. Ate lunch and dinner here and its fairly descent. Service is ok which I would expect to be much better since most times we were one of 2-3 tables. Prices are pretty good for what you get. They had some good cheap options for lunch.

Some fish was not super fresh. The place was empty which speaks for the quality of the food. And the chefs did not know how to make the prime ingredient, the sushi vinegared rice. It was nearly plain rice, inexcusable for a sushi restaurant.

Better than the other store on south Louise, like the atmosphere. Service can be an issue but have always enjoyed the food. My favor is the green dragon with an order of spicy tuna (maki rolls). greats stuff

Good food. Stopped in for lunch while on business travel. I was able to get in and out quickly. Although they did not offer many tempura rolls, the tempura shrimp was great. I also thought the fish taste surprisingly fresh for being served in Sioux Falls, SD.

This is my all time favorite place to eat! The best sushi rolls I have ever had!!! The staff are great people, they are always so friendly. The service is quick and delicious! We are regulars there but they always give us complimentary something from miso soup to sake and everything in between!
